We are the Flipanthropy team that buys high quality streetware and flip for good. We generate a profit for charity with integrity, honesty and passion. A percentage of each sale is donated to Olive Crest Boys’ home in Riverside, California. With each effort toward our goal will bring us closer to make a positive change in a life. My passion for streetwear has stemmed from the brand Supreme. Supreme is a skating and streetwear brand that has based its popularity over the growing “Hypebeast” (high fashion in terms of streetwear) culture. I have waited in long lines to acquire popular Supreme clothing for years and now I can finally put that time to a good cause and give back to the less fortunate of my own community. A trait of mine is not taking things for face value. What may look like a T-Shirt is a vehicle of achieving a not-for-profit quantity that can be donated to something beneficial. It took me years to finally understand the market and on how reselling works. Supreme releases an item, say a box logo tee and this tee is usually in high demand meaning people would go to the lengths of paying nearly fifteen times of how much the tee retailed for. I was astonished how something like this could play out, but basic supply and demand was a major principle here. If a tee is so scarce and demanded the price skyrockets. Many people resell for personal use, but I donate a portion of the profits to the Olive Crest boys’ home because this market needs someone to turn the money away from selfish desire.
